John lives in Metro Detroit and is accomplished in many areas of photography. When you need to capture your product, event, portrait, performance, or of course, your car, John has “the touch” to capture it in its best light.
As a photographer, John has a knack for finding the magic in the unrehearsed moment. “…my own comfort behind the camera and relaxed nature puts people at ease and allows that spark of spontaneity to happen.”
John’s passion for the art of image making led him to study photography and film-making at Wayne State University in Detroit (BFA 1998). His car shooting began as an assistant to world-class photographers at the renowned Boulevard Studios. Crafting light on sheet metal was just the beginning of this love affair.
John brought his knack for innovation to Chrysler’s Product Design Office as Lead Photographer where he raised-the-bar and provided “glamour” photography that significantly saved budget resources for Design Office, as well as PR and Marketing departments. John’s photo-retouching and photo-compositing talent was a natural fit for the CGI team, bringing math models to life.
John is also a Multimedia Producer whose most recent work has him developing a unique formula of dynamic photography and video for engaging social media content and persuasive online marketing.
